Francis E. Lyman (October 27, 1821 - November 26, 1850) was a merchant and farmer in Manchester, Connecticut, and the first husband of Emily Goodwin, a 7th-generation descendant of Ozias Goodwin, one of the founders of Hartford.

Born in Manchester, Connecticut on October 27, 1821, he was the son of Salmon Lyman and Octa Jones. He remained a merchant and farmer in his native town. A year and a half after his marriage on November 26, 1850, he died, leaving his wife a widow who would remarry five and a half years later.
