Giles Curtis Goodwin (October 17, 1823 - August 6, 1850) was the son of Allyn Goodwin, Jr. and Emily Fenn. Born in October 1823, he was a 7th-generation descendant of Ozias Goodwin, one of the founders of Hartford. On November 25, 1847, he married Julia Ann Crane, and died August 6, 1850 after living a life as a silversmith. In the 1850 Federal Census Mortality Index, his death was listed as caused by "fits." His widow afterwards married George C. Boughton of Brighton, Monroe County, New York.
He had no children.
