John Goodwin (August 8, 1772 - July 14, 1830) was a farmer in Hartford, Connecticut.

Goodwin was born on August 8, 1772 in Hartford, Connecticut, as the son of John Goodwin and Martha Spencer. He grew up in the area and attended the local schools there. He quickly became a farmer and resided in Hartford after his marriage in 1804. He lived there for many years.

On July 14, 1830, Goodwin died at his home in Hartford, Connecticut, at the age of 57, just before his 58th birthday.

Family

Goodwin married his second cousin, Anna Goodwin, on November 11, 1804. The coupled resided in Hartford, Connecticut.
