Orrin E. Tourtellotte (December 5, 1870 - July 20, 1955) was a pastor of the Center Methodist Church in East Hartford and other Connecticut communities. He was born in Thompson, Windham County, and received his early schooling in Thompson public schools, and at Woodstock academy. He was graduated from the School of Theology of Boston University in 1908. The Reverend Tourtellotte became pastor of the Methodist Church in LaMoure, North Dakota, before he came to the East Hartford church in the spring of 1925. He served the East Hartford congregation for 7 years before taking over the pastorage of Uncasville in the town of Montville, Connecticut. In later years, he served as pastor of churches in Mansfield, Massachusetts; Niantic, Connecticut; and Providence, Rhode Island. He was a member of Crescent Lodge, IOOF, of East Hartford.
He died at Windham Memorial Hospital on July 20, 1955, leaving his wife, Sarah Squires Tourtellotte, and his brother Charles W. Tourtellotte of Rhode Island.
