Roderick F. Washburn (died April 22, 1857) was a merchant tailor in Springfield, Massachusetts, and other cities in the region. He was the second husband of Emily Goodwin, a 7th-generation descendant of Ozias Goodwin, one of the early founders of Hartford, Connecticut. He was born in the early part of the 1800's in Ludlow, Massachusetts. After the death of Emily's first husband, she married Washburn on March 29, 1856. However, on April 22, 1857 in the following spring, he died in Hartford, leaving his wife a widow who would remarry for a third time in September 1872.
